The Four Services

What we do, in plain English.

Buy · Sell · Cross-border · New build
No. 01

Buyer's representation

Where we earn our long-term reputation. Market scan, off-market intel, shortlist, walkthroughs, sea trial, independent survey, escrow, closing. We'll tell you when the boat you love is the wrong boat — twice, if you don't hear us the first time.

No. 02

Listing & marketing

Contract to global market in seven days. Professional photography and walkthrough video, multi-channel listing, and direct, named outreach to qualified buyers — not autoresponder e-mail blasts.

No. 03

Cross-border closings

US, Canadian, Caribbean & international buyers. Flag-state filings, multi-jurisdiction escrow, secure international wires, and Florida tax handled correctly the first time.

No. 04

Service, slips & storage

Our property on Naples Bay includes a marine service yard, wet slips and a condominium boathouse — so haul-out, survey and where she'll live after closing are handled in one place, not three.

The part that protects you

Survey, haul-out & sea trial.

We retain only independent, credentialed surveyors. The boat comes out of the water, the bottom and running gear get inspected, the sea trial runs against a written checklist tied to your use case — and the survey results often become the basis for a second negotiation. That's where the deal is really made.

06
The Buyer Process

From "I'm looking"
to "she's mine."

Typical: 4–10 weeks
01

Intake call

Day 1 · 30 minutes

Use case, geography, budget, hidden constraints. What you want versus what you actually need — we're honest when those aren't the same boat.

02

Shortlist with off-market intel

Week 1

5–10 vessels, listed and off-market, each with a written assessment, the number we believe it should close at, and the questions we'd ask the listing broker.

03

Walkthroughs & sea trials

Weeks 2–4

We meet you on the dock; for international buyers we run live walkthrough video. Sea trials are coordinated, documented, and assessed against your use case.

04

Offer, survey & negotiation

Weeks 4–6

Written offer with contingencies, independent survey and haul-out, then the second negotiation the survey makes possible.

05

Closing, documentation, flag & insurance

Weeks 6–10

Escrow, USCG documentation or state titling, Florida tax handling, flag-state coordination, and an introduction to the right marine insurer for the hull.

06

Hand-over & the next year

Ongoing

Captain and yard introductions, the punch list, the maintenance schedule, the next slip. The relationship doesn't end at the closing table.

CENTER CONSOLE · BUY-SIDE SW FLORIDA
"I'd never bought a boat this size. They walked me through the survey, the options, and the slip she'd live in. Felt less like a broker and more like a partner."
First-time buyer
TRAWLER · OUT-OF-STATE NAPLES → THE BAHAMAS
"I bought from out of state, the boat sat in Naples. They coordinated escrow, sea-trial timing, documentation and the slip. Flew in, saw her, closed — made a vacation of it."
