Pete Peterson started selling boats in Houston in 1978 — new sailboats and trawlers — then moved to Florida's Space Coast in 1983 after sailing the Bahamas. When the Petersons sailed into Naples aboard their Westsail 32, Pete founded Naples Yacht Brokerage: the first independent full-service yacht brokerage in Collier County, and still the oldest.
